Furnishes Material for the Turkey Creek Water System

Coburn Supply in Alexandria recently furnished the material for a new and maybe one of the last large rural water systems in Louisiana. Turkey Creek Water System in southwest Franklin Parish, just out of Wisner, Louisiana, is in the process of having 76 miles of water line installed. These are some 350 plus water meter services to be connected.

Glen Womack trenching out of Harrisonburg, Louisiana is the project contractor. Pan American Engineers is the project engineer.

Dennis Berry is the president of Turkey Creek Water Systems. He tells us that this is one of the last large rural water systems to be installed in Louisiana. These types of water systems were common jobs for water pipeline contractors in the 70’s and 80’s.
