| Coburn’s Ruud 2004 Preferred Dealer Conference Held at the Royal Sonesta | ||||
|
Ruud dealers who met minimum purchase requirements earned an invitation to this exclusive event. On January fifteenth and sixteenth, the Royal Sonesta, was the site for Coburn’s Ruud Preferred Dealer Conference. The convention started with a general assembly and opening comments by Don Maloney, Coburn’s President. Neil Cowan, Ruud Sales Manager, addressed the audience from the manufacturer’s perspective. Ken Babin, Coburn’s HVAC Sales manager, then broke the group into four smaller groups and explained the breakout topics. The sessions included equipment reviews in both residential and commercial as well as extended warranties and also Coburn’s Ruud Programs for 2004. On hand from Ruud were Steve Hawkins, Residential Equipment Manager; Eric Bauman, Commercial Sales Manager; Bill Coleman, District Manager; and Bob Evans from Protech. Other presenters were Dwayne Milligan of WACA Corp; Steve Allelo with Genetron; and Oscar Lopez with Virginia Chemicals. Coburn’s Ruud Programs were presented by Tom LeBlanc. An open forum was conducted by Principals from Coburn’s including Don Maloney, President; AJ Maloney, Executive Vice President and many other managers from Coburn’s 35 Branches throughout Louisiana and Texas. The group was assembled for a social reception and a dinner banquet honoring the dealers with awards and recognition for sales and top performance. Coburn’s will continue to build a solid Ruud Dealer base and support these dealers with programs, products, and innovative identification through strategic marketing and professional sales techniques designed to help grow the dealer’s business. |
