Product Show & Manager's Meeting
Coburn's held their Spring Training Event November
18 & 19, 2003 in Beaumont, Texas. Managers of the Coburn's 35
locations attended the event. Coburn's appreciates the support
from the following vendors who attended and made this event possible:
The efforts of these manufacturers made this event a
tremendous success.
The festivities kicked off with lunch where Jim Scott,
President of Elkay, addressed the group. He shared the vision and
values of Elkay and his perspective into what is happening in the economy
and the plumbing industry. After lunch, the group attended a series
of breakout sessions presented by the manufacturer's and Coburn's
management on product and company information. The day wrapped up
with dinner at Pappadeaux's restaurant.
Following breakfast on Wednesday, the breakout sessions
continued. Laurie Breininger, Vice President and General Manager -
America's American Standard Inc. - Plumbing Products, concluded the event
with an informative presentation at the closing luncheon. Ms.
Breininger shared her insights on the plumbing industry and the roles of
the wholesale distributor and the manufacturer. She shared the
visions, plans, and triumphs of American Standard. American Standard
presented the following awards to Coburn's distributor locations:
