AJ & Ricki Maloney throw first pitch at UL Softball game

by | Thursday, May 4, 2017 |

On Saturday April 29, 2017 the University of Louisiana Softball team invited Mr. AJ Maloney (Executive Vice-President of Coburn Supply), Mrs. Ricki Maloney (AJ's wife) and Kenneth Begnaud (Coburn's of Lafayette) to the second game of a double header against Coastal Carolina at Lamson Park in Lafayette. Mr. AJ Maloney was asked to throw out the first pitch of the game, however, because he had ankle surgery and was on "injured reserve" Mrs. Ricki Maloney stepped up in fine fashion and actually threw out the first pitch of the game. The team wanted to express its appreciation to Coburn Supply Company for the donation of fixtures made to the softball program for the home and visitor dug out restrooms now required by the NCAA. Coach Michael Lotief, Stefani Lotief and the softball team presented Mrs. Ricki Maloney and Kenneth Begnaud with each a ball autographed by the entire team.

Also, Congratulations to the Cajuns! They won 13 - 4.
