Happy Humidity Season

Happy Humidity Season (Or as my friend calls it.the sweat index.)

Watching the weather this morning showed me the first signs of summer finally approaching.

Nighttime temps are up and a Dew Point temperature this morning of 70 degrees.

That means anything less than 70 degrees is going to sweat!

You know the problems.soaking wet walking from the house to the car, glasses fogging up when you enter or exit a building, sweating more after your shower than before, and let's not talk about bad hair days, I live frizz.

Ductwork, grilles, walls, PEOPLE, anything below the Dew Point temperature of the air will sweat.

Our typical instinct is to lower the thermostat which causes our big 5 ton unit to run longer and lower the temperature in the home to uncomfortable levels.but it is always either too cold or too humid.where is the relief?

Whole home dehumidifiers can solve this paradox for you. By lowering the moisture content without lowering the temperature, the home (and you), can be healthier and more comfortable at warmer temperatures!

Building scientists have said for years that most all homes, in the Coburn's four state region, should be equipped with a whole home dehumidifier in conjunction with a central HVAC system. HVAC systems are not typically designed to handle the amount of moisture in the air for our Southern homes.
